Canine Capers, Falkirk - 11th July 2010
This is the second year of the Canine Capers event, organised by Green Dog Walkers in partnership with Falkirk Council Litter Strategy, FC Outdoor Access Rangers and Forestry Commission Scotland. Last year the event was held in Zetland Park; this year’s event was held in Callendar Park and it will move to a different park each year. The Green Walkers is a volunteer-based campaign backed by Falkirk Council which aims to raise awareness and change attitudes about dog fouling issues.
This is the first year Boxer Welfare Scotland has attended, but everyone had so much fun, that we will definitely be going back next year! Over £50 was raised on the day, and the whole event helped to raise awareness locally.
