Dog Awareness Day, Elgin - August 2010
Organised by the Community Dog Wardens, this was the first event of its kind in Elgin of what, it's hoped, will become an annular event. The event was organised to promote the Green Walker initiative, where dog owners are prepared to wear the apporpriate arm bands and be available to offer extra dog poop bags where necessary.
The weather was a "little" windy and more than one display was sent flying, along with a gazebo! Despite the small crowds and windy weather, the volunteers made a respectable £113 on the day.
