East vs West Sponsored Walk
On 30th November 2008 two large groups of mad volunteers braved the artic conditions and went on a sponsored walk to raise money for Boxer Welfare Scotland.
The walk took place in two locations, Cathkin Braes in Glasgow and the Falkirk Wheel at Falkirk - hence the title, "East V West". Both groups did a fantastic job of raising money and awareness for the day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the day.
Both walks were very well attended by both two legged and, more importantly, four legged walkers!
Thanks to the teamwork from both sides, just over £800 was raised on the day, so a huge thank you to everyone who joined in the walks and to those who sponsored them to do so!
