Ollie

This is to say thank you very much for Ollie. We can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have such a really lovely, sweet-natured, charming dog. He and our other rescue dog, Grace (a lab/English pointer bitch) are complete soul mates and he is an absolute hit with everyone who meets him.

It took him a while to realise that he didn't have to be pushed around by Grace all of the time and now he is able to stand his ground with her in the typical boxer noisy way and she is lovely too so she respects that. He has also learnt that no amount to of dancing around will induce the cat to play with him – and not to get too close for fear the cat will explain that more clearly, with his claws in Ollie's nose!

The two dogs (both around the same age – about a year) play together non-stop. Ollie is learning a lot from Grace, including responding to us when we call him (!), and Grace is no longer bored. Job done!

Bella

When I came to my new home I was a little shy but now I'm "running the show" or so my mum says! I especially like getting my big brother up for school - it's even better at the weekend when I just get in beside him!

I love going for walks - I'm now allowed off the lead which is great as my dad throw sticks for me. I usually come home covered in mud, that's what happens when you're having a good time! Best of all, I love when we're all sitting together in the evening, mum, dad and my big brother are watching television and I'm asleep, usually on someone's lap - thats' just the best thing ever!!!!!!!!!!

Floyd

We have now had our new family member Floyd for 17 weeks. Floyd had a tough start to his young life which has resulted in him having some issues! Him & his new older brother Charlie get on really well together and are great company for each other.

Floyd loves to go long walks in the woods and loves the car to, but one of our current problems is getting him into his walking harness (talk about a bag o frogs)! this can take a wee while before we even get to leave the house! When floyd first arrived home he wasn't really into cuddles but now he likes nothing better than sitting on your knee watching tv. Floyd has definitly made a huge impact in our lives after a difficult start, but is now settled in his new forever home!!

Kara (aka Clara)

Happy new year to all at boxer welfare and its a happy new start for Kara (aka Clara). We had been thinking about a friend for our boxer/ bordeaux x Rino for some time and were so excited going to meet Kara for the first time but we didnt realise just how jealous our spoiled boy would react.

The first meeting didn't go well but this loveable cute wee dog with the sweetest wee face had already stole our hearts. So next week we went back and all was well. In the house Kara now rules but we are lucky to have a dog friendly park nearby with a good size dog enclosure and its been there that this pair have really bonded. Anyone thinking two dogs is too much hard work should experience the joy of two boxers running and playing together, great stress relief. As i write this i have Rino lying at my feet and Kara cuddled in next to me on the couch, happy days.

Cooper

We had originally been thinking about getting a puppy or younger dog as company for Marley next year, however seeing the appeals in November when they seemed to be coming thick and fast made us think that we could do something to help by fostering. We spoke to Lorraine to find out which appeal was most urgent and were told that Cooper was in a bad way and needed to come out of kennels as soon as possible. We went to Glasgow next day and met Cooper for the first time, we had no hesitation in wanting to take him home and we went back with him to meet Marley. There have been the occasional scraps as they have gotten to know each other but they are now at the stage where the look for each other around the house and most evenings are spent lying on the same bed together as you can see in the photos.

The fostering was quickly changed to adoption within a few days and with Lorraine's help I was able to keep it as a surprise until Christmas day. Cooper is now putting on weight and the poor old man we first met in Glasgow is now showing himself up to be a wonderful addition to our family and a first class wind up merchant where Marley and toys are concerned, we look forward to many years in the future with the two of them and we live in hope that Coopers superb behaviour when he is out a walk will eventually rub off on the rowdy youth that is Marley.

Lucky

This is our wee dog who we adopted on 28th November. As soon as we saw her we knew she was coming home with us. She has settled in really well with no problems whatsoever. She is such a beautiful, lovely natured and well behaved wee dog we can hardly believe it. Every time I look at her I want to hug her, she just has that effect.

It's only been 4 weeks but we feel as if she's always been here. After 4 weeks of not having barked Lucky chose to let us hear her voice for the first time in the early hours of the morning when I was trying to enter the house quietly after working the late shift and woke the house up...lol I think she was welcoming me home.

Thanks to Boxer Welfare for making this all possible and a special thanks to her foster parents, Jennie and JR, who did such a marvellous job nursing her back to health.

She is called Lucky but I believe we are actually the ' Lucky' ones to have her in our lives. Thanks again BWS.

Archie & Alfie

Roxy

Roxy found her forever home in October, her family will send us a statement and new photos soon.

Poppy and Harley

They are both doing extremely well, they like to come into my bed in the morning when my husband gets up at 5.30. They have only been here for 6 weeks on Sunday, but to see them you would think they had been here all their days, What a JOY they have brought to our house. THANKS BWS. Here is photos at Poppys 5th Birthday and Poppy and Harley relaxing.

Murphy

We fell in love with Murphy at first sight although couldn't believe how skinny he was. He had such a funny bark and bounced all over the place which I think confused his new sister Suzie. It took a good few days for them to get used to each other, but things are much better now. They will happily cuddle together and love nothing better than having a run in the park. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to have such a character in our lives.

Megan

Megan is an adorable wee dog, with lots of attitude! She likes to think she rules the roost, and has already picked her space on the couch and bed! She fits in perfectly, and after falling in love while fostering her, decided she wouldn't be leaving us! She's found her Forever Home.

Cookie

Since we seen Cookie on Boxer Welfare Scotland website we fell in love with her and since Cookie came to us nearly two weeks ago (3rd Dec 2011). She has adapted greatly, she loves our 11 month old son Thomas and they love to play together. We have adapted to, she even sits at the baby gate in the living room waiting on Robert coming in from work to greet him with kisses. Its only been 2 weeks but she became one of the family, couldn't imagine us without her she even gets on the other dogs our family has. We are forever grateful to Boxer Welfare and her foster parents, keep up the great work.

UPDATE: Cookie getting on great in her new home, the last photo was taken on her follow up check in January.

Roxy

Our beloved boxer Winston sadly passed away a year ago. Into our life this year came beautiful Roxy, a lovely well behaved girl. She is a joy and all the family just love her to bits. Roxy loves her walks in the park and races around sniffing everything she sees. Thank you all for giving us Roxy.

Maggie

We adopted Maggie in September. She has settled in well to her new home, she has such a great nature and loves to be around all the family. At first she was a bit nervous but now she has came out her shell and loves nothing better than to run around in the park. Our daughter Alex adores Maggie and is glad to finally be a big sister. We couldn't have asked for a better dog and are glad to have given her a loving home. Many thanks to boxer welfare.

Jack

Jack was rehomed in October, his new family will send us in photos and a statement soon. Here is Jack the day he found his new home.

Mac

We have had Mac a month now 2 days after we sadly had to put our other boxer to sleep. Mac has helped us so much to move on. He was so thin but has so much love to give and is such a happy wee soul. He's so healthy now and loves to play all the time and loves his long walks. We just couldn't part with him, he also rules the house already.

Max

Former special appeal Max was rehomed in September. Max now lives with BWS Mattie.

Roxi & Tyson

Roxi and Tyson were rehomed in September. They have settled very well into their new home and have made the whole family very happy.

Dexter & Lola (aka Chloe & Jerry)

Dexter and Lola were rehomed in August, they now live in England with their new family. They have settled in very well and their family love them to bits. These photos were taken the day they went off to their forever home. We will hopefully have more photos soon.

Ewen

Ewen found his forever home in August, he now lives with BWS Daisy. The two are getting along great and Ewen has settled in wonderfully. Ewen has now been with us for about 9 weeks. Apart from the first few days apprehension between him and Daisy, it's been really great. He's come out his shell and is forever looking for kisses and him and Daisy are looking for each other when out. And he's been putting on weight! Thanks for giving us this opportunity of adopting another great boxer!

Bracken (aka Jacko)

We would just like to thank Boxer Welfare Scotland for allowing us to adopt Bracken. He adores his new big brother Dexter and Dexter absolutely loves Bracken. We believe Bracken has found his forever home and Dexter has found his forever friend also. Thank you so much Lorraine and co. for making this happen. Oh, one comment - "can anyone supply us with a gas mask..... Ha, ha, ha"

Roxy

We took our boxer Buster through to Glasgow to meet his potential new pal Roxy back in August. Buster was very well behaved and waited patiently for Roxy to be brought out. There was a bit of barking and a lot of clawing until this skinny little boxer literally crawled her way outside. She was very underweight indeed but nevertheless she was very keen to meet Buster. We took them out together and fortunately they got on fine. Roxy came home with us that day.

Since then she has made herself very much at home, she is a complete whirlwind during the day but loves to curl up on a knee at night. Without a doubt she has made herself the leader of the pack but Buster is quite happy to let her do that as long as he doesn't feel his is missing out on his cuddles. Roxy is steadily gaining weight and the vets are really pleased with her progress. Despite possibly having a difficult start to her young life, she is a very affectionate dog and we cannot remember what it was like without her.

We would just like to thank BWS for their excellent care and for allowing us the chance to give Roxy her forever home with us.

Bingley

On the 2nd September Bingley joined his new owners in the Borders - having been in the Falkirk Kennels for four months. He is a steady, easy going boy and has settled in well. At the end of September he had a holiday on the Isle of Mull where he showed his prowess in the sea, swimming strongly to retrieve his beach toys! He also met our friend's adorable eight year old boxer Cassie and they are now penpals, having played together every day.

Bingley enjoys his new home and has the manners to wait until he is alone before climbing onto a sofa or his owners bed!!!

A true gentleman indeed.

Brodie

9 year old special appeal Brodie went off to his new forever home in October, he now lives with boxer babes Curtis and Tony. Brodie is our sweet wee silver face boy who has totally stole our hearts. He is a very contented little boy he settled in straight away and made himself right at home. Brodie is honestly our little treasure. He loves to sits beside us cosied in on the couch and Tony likes to lie beside him on the floor or they lie in their beds alongside each other, just like a pair of old men! Curtis is happy to have a new buddy and just wants him to play all the time.

Rocky

Having fell in love with our BWS babe Roxy we felt that it was time for us to open our home to another babe. We met Rocky on a nice crisp Sunday morning. He was a handsome boy and we all held our breath and tried not to get too excited as we waited on Roxy's reaction to her possible new brother. We needn't have worried...after a few girly barks from Roxy Boxy she settled down as Mr laid back Rocky was not interested in her carry on. Roxy and Rocky walked really well together and we were delighted we could take him home. It was a squash and a squeeze getting home in the car with two children, two dogs and my husband and me but we made it. Back home and a few spats later Roxy and Rocky are true friends. Rocky is a calm boy who will drop to the floor and roll on his back if Madam Roxy starts any carry on.This move totally throws Roxy who ends up copying him. Roxy has calmed down somewhat now she knows that Rocky is not stealing her family. They are now quite cuddly and judging by the zoomies they do in the garden we can't wait to see how fast they both are when Rocky is off lead.

Thank you again BWS for allowing us the opportunity to adopt our beautiful babes.

Tilly

Beautiful Tilly went off to her forever home in September with our oldest adoptor to date, 87 years old. Tilly is the perfect match for her new owner and she has settled in wonderfully. Both have been enjoying their 10 mile walks everyday. Tilly is doing so well and is looking so happy in her new home.

Tyson

Tyson was rehomed in September.

Storm

After a hard start to his life, Storm started his new life in August with his new family. Storm's new family will send us a statement to add here soon as well as some new photos.

Percy

Handsome Percy was rehomed in July. Percy's new family will send us a statement to add here soon as well as some new photos.

Indie

Pretty Indie went off to her new home in July. Indie's new family will send us a statement to add here soon as well as some new photos.

Nala

Nala went home with us on the 19th of August. Since then she has settled in very well. She has her own room, filled with a new bed, blankets and lots of new toys. Nala has made many new friends and although she was quite clingy and shy at first has now come out of her shell. We discovered that Nala knows how to switch on the tv and open doors. Quite often we come in to find her glued to the tv or peeking out the window looking out for us. Nala enjoys lovely strolls in the countryside and is slowly becoming more familiar with her toys and treats as before she seemed to be unsure. Nala now has a special bond with her new mum who has overcome her fear of bouncy boxers. Nala is a lovely addition to our family.

Rocky

Rocky was adopted in July and has been happily living in his new home for a few months. Rocky is doing so well, he is a fantastic dog, so loving and friendly. We are still working on his wee problem when passing other dogs but it is still early days. He is very nosey and god he can fart but has us all in fits with some of his antics. Thank you for giving us a great guy.

Rosco

We have had Rosco since mid June and I have to say in the first few weeks we weren't sure he was going to settle. I think he found it hard to be in a family situation again after so long in kennels, but we could see he was needing the stability of a home and an outlet for all the affection he was desperate to give. Over the weeks he was able to start trusting us and vice versa and now we have the most wonderful dog!

The day starts with his paw round my neck and his nose next to mine, if I keep my eyes closed he goes back to bed, If I open them he goes wild with the "kisses"until we get up. From that moment on we have a constant companion for the rest of the day. On the occasions where we have had to leave him at home on his own, he welcomes us back with a leaping circular dance that has us in fits of laughter. He loves to entertain us with his antics, like putting his chin on our knee, looking up at us and snoring... yes snoring... and the more we laugh the louder he gets! He also seems to think his back paw isn't part of him and that it is sneaking up on him (it actually moves up to his head in slow motion). When this happens he goes into battle with the paw and you can see him formulating a strategy to get it while it's not looking....Hilarious!

He has also claimed the footstool at the window where he can keep an eye on the street (he is really nosy). Rosco is handsome, fearless, funny, affectionate and is now part of the family. He has filled the emptiness we felt when we lost our 12 year old boxer Shadow in April this year and he has given us a focus again. Rosco wasn't faring well in the kennels and BWS were concerned for his welfare, I am happy to say he is now putting on weight, loves his kisses and cuddles, going for walks, going to the beach, playing in the garden especially when his pool is out, and generally being spoiled rotten.

I'm glad we gave him the chance and that he learned to trust us because now I can safely say that Rosco has found his Forever Home. We would also like to thank to BWS for trusting us with Rosco's care.

Cathy & Paddy

Bella

Bella arrived at her new home in August and now lives with her big BWS sister Bonnie. Bella is a very dainty 7 months old who is so full of life. She is a little minx as she has stolen Bonnie's beds and has already ripped two beds up. Bella loves standing up at the window watching everything going on too. Bella is settling in just fine, Bonnie and Bella are getting on great. Bonnie is a big softie anyway so she is always getting pestered to play with her new sister.

Duke (aka Sugar)

We picked up Duke on the 14th August, we took our 4 children and our 9month old pup Rusty. The kids thought we were just going to visit the kennels, little did they know, (“ LITTLE DID WE KNOW!!!”) We took Duke for a wander and we instantly fell in love, Rusty was smitten straight away. Duke is a big canny boy, extremely laid back and takes a lot from Rusty, she wont leave him alone. We bathed him when we got him home and we couldn’t believe how trusting he was. He has settled in so well, it feels like has been with us forever. Duke is very well behaved, we still have a few teething problems , if he is left for a short time he is inclined to re-arrange the contents of the kitchen cupboards !!! What a   clever boy!! I now have a very organised and tidy kitchen!! Thank you BOXER WELFARE for finding us Duke. Ps Duke says THANK YOU as well.

Maisie

Maisie is an incredibly adaptable, intelligent and loving dog, and in the couple of months we have had her, it seems as though she's always been here? The issues she had regarding other dogs and children are gradually less of a concern to us now, and given more time I'm sure she will fully adapt to things around her.
She looks a lot beefier now, loves her foods, but is patient and respectful at meal times and is not slow at telling you it's time for a walk! We love her dearly!!

Bruno

When Boxer Welfare Scotland took me in, it was thought that I had an enlarged kidney. I was also a very, very skinny boy and it was decided I would do better in foster care.

I moved in with Jim, Barbara, Biff & Buttons and very quickly learned what side my bread was buttered on (hey! hey!). They didn’t know it yet, but I had found my forever home! My master plan was formed and I very quickly wormed my way into all their hearts. (I am so adorable – they just couldn’t help themselves!)

I absolutely love running about in the woods and on the beach with my new big brother and sister. I have made loads of new friends, some with four legs and some with only two. One of my favourites is a wee whippet – Biff, Buttons & I can chase her for hours!

I have learned a lot in the past few months – although I do sometimes still struggle with the “No!” word, but hey, I’m still a baby! I’m getting loads of extra foods to help put some meat on my bones. My favourite is smelly tripe (yummmmmm!) I was getting lots of pasta too, but that’s been cut back as it gives me really loud and smelly wind!

Life is good and I want to say thanks to all at Boxer Welfare Scotland for making it possible.

Love from Bruno

Holly

Holly is the sweetest wee lass you could ever wish to meet. She likes nothing better than cuddling upto you and falling fast asleep. Even though she has only been here for for a couple of weeks she has already won Ty over and is def the boss. Holly makes the most of only having 3 legs and simply loves a wee walk along the street as people just cant resist giving her a bit of attention and of course Princess Holly laps it up again !!! We love her too bits and nothing better than listening to them snoring together at bedtime.

Ozzy

Has fitted in with his new family really well. He loves to chase a ball about in the garden and is learning to share it a bit better now. Enjoys walks in the local park and likes to meet other dogs while out and about. His new family are so pleased that Ozzy has settled with them and would like to Thank BWS for letting them adopt him.

Keira

Zak does not know what has hit him since Keira went to live with them. Keira is the boss in the house and Zak just does what he is told. She loves her new family and they all love her too bits.  Her new pal Ryan enjoys playing in the garden with the 2 dogs and they all have lots of fun together.

Bruno

What a lovely boy Bruno is, he has beauty big ears and lovely markings.  He has taken to Oscar well, we are glad they have bonded. Bruno is so laid back and calm very affectionate. Thanks BWS for making a match for Oscar, I think our family is complete and I want to thank Lorraine for putting us at ease over the whole adoption.

Roxy

We couldnt be happier with Roxy she is such a great dog and we love her very much.

Alfie (aka Kaiser)

Alfie settled in so well when we first got him. At first he was easily tired after our daily walks in the country, but now he walks and runs and burns off all his energy with all his dog friends. He has a wonderful nature and gets on with everyone. His favourite pastime is football ( although he doesn't pass very often!) so with four guys in the house he has come to the right family!

Roxy

When we first met Roxy it was love at first sight. My husband, daugther and son along with myself couldn't believe she had been looking for a home for so long - she is just a beauty. We took Roxy for a walk with Linda (a volunteer who had been walking and caring for Roxy at the kennels) we chatted and asked lots of questions about her. There was no doubt that she was coming home with us and she jumped in the car as if she owed it!!!

At home Roxy had a good sniff bypassing her new luxury bed to sprawl out on ours and we let her - how could we say no to such a cutie. 'Roxy the cheeky boxy' is our pet name for her as she is starting to show her quirks, likes and dislikes. Roxy loves to give cuddles putting her big paws around our neck and head on our shoulders. She also (we discovered) can use those big paws to stand against the kitchen work tops and scoop any plates of food towards her. Roxy has however, settled in very well and appears to have fallen in love with the four of us too.

Rocky

Rocky has settled in with Pippa and myself and I couldn't imagine not having him now. It took a few weeks but they both bonded so well that he's very protective of her but in the end she's still the boss. For a very big boxer he's just a big softy that has alot of love to give and is just full of fun. I just want to thank Boxer Welfare for giving Pippa a fab brother and a great addition to my wee family.

Trix

We would love to take this time to tell you how well wee Trix has settled into our loving family home. We adopted her in April 2011. Trix is a very loving and affectionate little dog who has brought a lot of joy to our 3 young kids and especially our other male boxer, they are inseperateable and have become best friends. We are so glad we adopted Trix as it seems she has always been part of the family so we would like to take this opportunity to thank boxer welfare for matching the right dog with the right family.

Charlie

Charlie has settled really well into his new home with his new sister Bonnie.  Even though Bonnie is a lot smaller she has decided she is the boss.  Laid back Charlie has already been to visit the BWS at a microchipping day to show how well he is doing.

Max

Max's statement will be added soon.

Rocky (aka Lennon)

Former Special Appeal Lennon has found a loving forever home and we are so pleased for this handsome boy. His new family have given him a new name, Rocky, they all love him to bits and has settled in perfectly.

Deano (aka Mason)

Today (11 May) we adopted Mason now Deano, he's lovely my daughter is delighted and so are we, he's made himself at home already. Deano has settled in really well, he even has a new lady in his life. Milly a 3 year old from next door. This lad is going to be fine. Its as if he has been here before.

Cena

Cena was rehomed in May, hoping have a statement from his new family soon.

Angus (aka Kevin)

Angus is settling in very well and him and his new sister Ruby are getting on great he's made himself very much at home and everyone has taken him into their hearts. Thank You boxer welfare for this new ray of sunshine

Kaiser

Kaiser has quickly settled in to his new home, very quickly finding his feet and his voice in the house. He has a cheeky personality a real lovable rouge, we are always stopped during our walks with kaiser for people to pet him and compliment how beautiful and well behaved he is. He loves to play and loves a cuddle on the couch, we are so happy to have given him a new home.

Hula (aka Buttons)

She's settled in really well and is loving her new big sister Keira as you can see from some of the photos. Loving her walks up the law hill, shes quite a character, its almost like shes always been here, and were all loving every minute of her.

Cookie

If we had to describe our little boxer babe in one word, it would have to be adorable. Cookie has the sweetest face and she is absolutely full of cuddles and loving. Everybody who meets Cookie just wants to give her big hugs! She loves to play with big BWS brother Max and to borrow a bit of space in his bed... In fact they are already pretty much inseparable - it really is lovely to see them enjoying each other's company. Cookie has the funniest squeaky little bark, and has surprised us all by her ability to open doors... there is definitely an endearing sense of mischief to our gorgeous girl! She is very very special and we just love her to bits...

Marquis

Former special appeal Marquis found his forever home with his loving foster family, who couldn't bear to part with this sweet old gent. Marquis is a very happy boy with lots of four legged friends to keep him company.

Max

Dave and I went to Newmacher on 30th January to collect Max, he smelt doggy as he had been in the kennels and with all the wet and snow he humed all the way home. Once home it was too late to bath him but he was bathed next day. Everyone(he now lives in a mad house with more boxers than you can count) came to meet him which was a bit off putting for him to start with, so we settled him in for the night and the rest is history. He has settled in so well now we just couldnt let him go, but I think deep down Lorraine knew thats what would happen. Thank you Lorraine and the rest of BWS for letting us give Max his forever home.

Benny

We brought boisterous benny home just 2 weeks ago and boy has he settled in his new home, his big sister holly is still trying to suss him out but i'm sure they'll soon become great friends. Benny is such a character and just doesn't know when to stop so he's certainly keeping us all on our toes! He loves his walks especially the beach where he's discovered there's plenty of fun to be had, then of course he's found the comfy places in the house to chill out afterwards! Words can't describe how much we love our boy now and every day brings a smile to see how much his manners are improving.

Digger

Since losing my 13 year, Misa, 2 weeks ago we were all very sad at the gap she left in our lives, my other Boxer Taihla was lost without her and whilst we wanted to wait a while before getting another dog we saw how much she needed a companion. I received a text which made me think seriously about looking into adopting a rescue dog. We have had our little cherub Digger with us now for just 4 short days but it seems like he's always been here. Taihla never leaves his side and they are so sweet together. Digger has the manners and grace of a true gentleman and he has us laughing constantly. I am now a "rescue bore" telling anyone who will listen that they should seriously consider it if they have a space in their heart to do so. A big thank you to Boxer welfare for allowing us to give Digger a home and a huge pat on the back to the kennels he boarded at as they would appear to have nurtured him during his time there.

Maisy

Maisy has settled in very well with us and also with Stella.  It has not taken her long to find out all the comfy places in the house and who she can look at with these beautiful eyes and have us at her beck and call. She has put on a little weight and does not have so many bones to count!!   She has a lovely shiny coat and does not have to put a jacket on now for the cold. Her nature is terrific and she certainly enjoys her food and Stella's if she can get away with it.   New photos of Maisy on our blog

Jessie

Jessie's note from her new family will be added soon.

Bailey

He has adapted very quickly to his new home and is loving loads of attention from us and all the Gran kids. On a daily basis he wakes up the house around 0630 with a nice wet nose to the face as a sign that he would like to go out for his morning pee, then it is breakfast before his morning walk round the fields and woods, he really enjoys the first walk of the day as the rabbits are still out from the night before and it gives him healthy exercise chasing them all back into their burrows, as you can imagine he is so excited with the number of "New Toys" (Rabbits) in the woods that he doesn't know which way to run first. Throughly entertaining!

Ruby

Pretty Ruby's statement will be added soon.

Sassi

Sassi's new family will send us a statement to add here soon as well as some new photos.

Abbey

Abbey has fitted in so well with our family. She's a big hit with friends and family and loves her two legged big brother! She had an operation just after she came home with us and was the perfect patient. She was a bit dopey for a few days but is back in fine spirits now. We have nicknamed her our "big sook" as she's full of kisses and cuddles. She loves her walks on the beach, finding sticks and stones and has even braved the water!  A fantastic edition to our family who we love just as much as we love her.  Couldn't imagine life without her.

Dillion

Dillion is doing remarkably well. He has settled in so well you really would think he had been here for years! If we sit down the cheeky man sits on your knee.  We have started to introduce the two cats via a baby gate. One cat (Buffy aged about 5) has decided she is staying upstairs, the younger cat Asia (Maine Coon aged nearly 2) is more curious and comes to the gate. The first day Dillion was fixated on her but, with the aid of cheese, the last two days he has been calm and not so interested in her so we are making progress, slowly. He is brill to walk except when meeting other dogs, whaich we aren't too bothered about and are working on.

Rocky

Rocky's new family will send us a statement about him soon.

Special appeal Gus has finally landed on his feet with his new home. He has found a new family who can be with him all the time to give him the attention he deserves. After a rough year he has found a home where he can settle and be loved.

Lola

After only a few days it already felt like she's always been here. Lola is getting spoilt rotten with love and attention from family and friends and has settled in straight away. Lola is so gentle and friendly to everyone she meets and enjoys the long walks in the fields near our home. We all love her to bits and couldn't of asked for a better dog.
