Christmas Prize Draw

Wow what fun I had!!  On 6th December we all met up at Pets at Home in Aberdeen to draw the raffle.

Of course I was in the store having lots of fun dragging Auntie Karen around.  She let me go where I wanted and I got to see the rabbits!  I met other doggies too and I was a good girl (of course).  George and Millie came too and I said they could come out and say hello as well, but only if they behaved (which they did).

Alison came up from the Elgin Pets at Home and did the draw for us.  It was great fun waiting for all the tickets to come out.  We also did lots of collecting on the day and everyone sold more tickets!!  Everyone said how lovely I was, which is true, but I always like hearing it.! All the tickets sold raised just over £700!

After the draw everyone went to have their lunch at Jimmy Chungs. Ayden, Andy, Dad, Karen, Rob, Natalie, Michelle, Craig, Kirsty, Christopher, Amanda, Carrie, Mum & Lorraine all had a lovely lunch.

Mum said I couldn’t come but she did say that, if I was good, I might have a treat when she came back.  I told George and Millie to be extra good as I didn’t want them being naughty and spoiling my surprise.  When Mum & Dad came back, they had a bag of fresh cooked beef for me!!  Because I am so lovely, I shared it with George and Millie and we all agreed it was delicious. I did ask Dad where it came from, but he refused to comment ……..??

It was a lovely day out and I had a lovely time being spoilt by all my Boxer Welfare Scotland friends, but while they were all busy relaxing and eating, Carrie H, Shona, Mary and Lisa were all working hard at a coffee morning in North Berwick.  They worked so hard that they managed to raise a whopping £870!  Mum as just amazed and so grateful that we have such lovely volunteers who work so hard to help us raise so much money.

Well I am off to chew on a chair now, it must be that time of day already.
