Boxers Looking For Homes
Just because you cannot see any photos of boxers looking for homes on this website, it doesn't mean we don't have any in our care! We regularly have over TWENTY boxers looking for homes, of all ages, sex, colour and size.
However, it is not Boxer Welfare Scotland's policy to advertise the dogs in our care, we feel it is more important to a prospective adopter with a boxer in our care based on the dog's personality, rather than its looks. A great deal of time and care is taken to make sure that the adopter's environment, working life and location are taken into consideration when matching a boxer to them. Our dogs are assessed by our volunteers and are then placed in homes we think are the best suited for their personality, nature and previous history.
By rehoming our dogs this way, we feel we are making sure that the dog is placed in a home that it will remain in for the rest of its life and that their new Mum and Dad will feel like they have been there forever, from the very beginning.
You can read more about by reading our how to adoptpage, before filling in an adoption application form.
If you would prefer to talk to someone first, please contact Lorraine on 01779 812799 or Karen 01343 813999 and we would be happy to talk you through our policies. These are both landline numbers and we would ask you to take the time of day into consideration when calling.
While you are thinking about it, have a look at some of the boxer babes that we have rehomed since we started in January 2005. We look forward to hearing from you! |
