OUR DAY OUT AT CRUFTS IN 2008
On Saturday 8th March 2008 chaos descended on Crufts in a way that had never been seen before! Not only was it "boxer" day, but Boxer Welfare Scotland had travelled down, en masse, to enjoy the sites and sounds of Crufts! Here is our story, from the moment we all met up, to the last of us getting on our plane home. This was the first time we had all been together and it was also the first time a few of us had even met each other! On the trip was Lorraine (The Boss!) from Peterhead with Karen and Christopher (Karen's son) from Elgin. Carrie, Lorraine Martin and Kelly all travelled from Edinburgh and Lori and Dawn (Lori's friend) travelled from Glasgow!
Kelly, Lori, Lorraine M, Carrie and Dawn all flew down the night before. Here they all are settling into their hotel rooms!

All in all it was a great weekend. We were constantly getting stopped by people asking us about our rescue, so it was a wonderful, fun way to raise a profile a little more in the boxer community.
