HAPPY ENDINGS 2007
Here are some of the happy endings for 2007. Remember, we can only post photographs of our rescue dogs if we actually have photos of them! Diesel
This handsome young boy had already had several homes before he came into our care. Poor Diesel had been involved in a road traffic accident and his leg had been broken and pinned. Poor Diesel also had pressure sores from not being able to move around much. Thankfully he has now gone off to his new home to join his new friend Reggie and the two of them never sit still! His new Mum and Dad love him to bits and are doing a great job of bringing him back to full health.
Ryan (aka Chance)
This handsome chap went off to his new home in late December. Poor Ryan hasn't had the best of lives so far, but that is about to change with his new Mum and Dad. He is off to the west coast of Scotland to enjoy lots of love and fuss.

Tyson went off to his new home in late December, all ready for a wonderful Christmas in his new home. Tyson joins his new friend Ivi and, Tyson is so well trained that he even makes Ivi look a bit cheeky! Ivi is getting used to Tyson and really seems to enjoy having someone to play with. His new Mum and Dad say that he has settled in really well and that it feels he has always been there.
Kiera
Lovely Kiera went away to her new home in December. She joins her new best friend Suzi who is an English Bull Terrier, as you can see, they are already fast friends. Kiera's new mum says she is very lucky to have such a fantastic new girl as she has such a wonderful nature. Kiera has settled in amazingly well - good girl Kiera.
Nala (aka Soveriegn)
This lovely girl went off to her new home in December and was instantly loved!! Not much was known about poor wee Nala, but that important thing is that she is now getting all the love and care she needs! These photos were taken in March 08 during a follow-up check and she was certainly well settled.
Ozzy
This stunning big boy went off to his new home in December. His new mum says she keeps getting her face washed and can't believe how well he is settling in. They are completely besotted with him and are looking forward to making sure he has a great life with them. He has already been on several walks and met lots of new friends - apparently the girlies like him - naturally!
Cody
This beautiful, shy girl went off to be fostered until a new home was found. Well her fosters were unable to part with her and she has now become part of their family. She is such a gorgeous girl! Here she is on a visit to Auntie Lorraine, where she was her given a BWS jumper that she needs to keep her warm, until she grows a little more fur.
Wilson
Wee Wilson headed of to his new home in December this year. His new Mum and Dad are totally in love with their new boy and can't wait to spend lots of time with him. Wilson has already met his new "grandparents" and they think he is just wonderful! As you can see, Wilson is now enjoying the good life and is sure to be totally spoilt - just like he deserves!

Hetty
What can you say, just look at that face. Tiny Hetty went off to her new home in December this year and will certainly get all the love and fuss she deserves.

Here are the new photos and a note from her new Mum and Dad in February 08 "Hetty's settled in very well. We built her weight up by about 1½ kilos, which our vet says makes her just right. She's a bit enthusiastic with other dogs & people, but the training classes seem to be working (slowly). She's very good in the house and has an excellent affectionate nature"
Brannigan
Gorgeous Brannigan went off to his new home in November and has already settled in well. His new family absolutely love him to bits! We look forward to hearing lots more about him.

Charlie & Lucy
These two beautiful girls went off to their new home in November this year. As a mother and daughter team, they could not be separated, but now they have their perfect forever home. There is already two of everything waiting for them and it looks like these two special ladies are going to be spoilt rotten!! Here are some photos that were sent to us a few weeks after they went home.
Danny
This stunning big boy is Danny! Danny has broken a lot of hearts today by heading off to his new home. His new Mum and Dad said that he slept in their bed on the first night and that they already felt that they had had him forever and think he is just perfect! Well done Danny!

Alfie
This beautiful young boy went off to his new home in November this year to join his new best friend Bomber aka "Bombom". Alfie and Bombom are already the best of friends and spend their time running around the house or the garden together, that is when Alfie isn't mooching for food!! Apparently he has settled into the madhouse very well! These photos were taken at a follow-up check in February 08.

Buttons
This lovely little girl is Buttons. Buttons sadly lost her best friend Alfie (see our Rainbow Bridge Gallery) earlier this year and got very depressed and sad. Happily Buttons found a new home with a new four legged friend to play with, as well as some two legged ones. Her new Mum and Dad love her to bits and she has a waggy tail again!
Tyler
Here is the beautiful, eleven year old Tyler. Tyler broke many hearts when she came into our rescue, and you can read her full story in tragic stories. Here however, we are going to concentrate on the positive and say that Tyler has gone away to her new home to join Jack, our other most northerly dog!! Tyler is now surrounded by pals, especially in the form of Jack and Cally. Her new Mum and Dad think she is just beautiful and already love her to bits!! Good girl Tyler. Here she is out with Cally and snuggling Jack.
Georgie (aka Nero)
This beautiful girl has gone to live a life of fun and excitement with her new friend Basil. Georgie and Basil have hit if off straight away and are already enjoying lots of fun and games together. Georgie is the little girl with the dark face.
Chance
This is Chance, who came to us in a very sorry state. You can read more about Chance in Tragic Stories Chance is now tucked up in a new home with a family who adore him. His best friend Oscar is making him feel right at home and they are often found cuddled up asleep together, if they aren't slavering over each other!
Tilly (aka Tigerlily)
Tilly went off to her new home in October this year. She is guaranteed plenty of fuss and cuddles and her new mum and dad think she is just gorgeous! She has such a sad looking face, but is a really happy girl and just loves to play ball. Feb 08 Tilly is now a healthy weight and is looking fantastic. She is very much a Daddy's girl and loves her cuddles!! Tilly is getting more confident with other dogs and loves playing with her new best friends Woody and Bridget, as well as Sasha! What a good girl!!
Tommy (aka Bosco)
Look at this face, what a stunning boy Tommy is. Tommy went off to his new home in September and has brought back happiness and fun after a sad loss. He has plenty of friends around him including Fred (black lab) and Pluto the cat, who he sleeps with!! Apparently he is a very bouncy boxer and never stands still long enough to get his photo taken! Thankfully he was good enough to pose for these photos, so we can show off another beautiful Boxer Weflare babe!
Heather
This beautiful girl went off to her new home in September this year. Her new owners say "she is a star and has settled in fantastically well. She has made lots of new friends with 2 and 4 legs and everyone adores her".
Zak and Cora
Cora and Zak came in as a bonded pair and could not be separated. Zak is a full boxer and Cora is a boxer X. Zak and Cora do everything together, including watching football and noseying out the windows! As you can see, they also even sleep together, wherever they may be! These two are truly inseperable.
Abbey
Here is the beautiful Abbey who went off to her new home in September this year. She has settled in well and her family absolutely love her to bits!!
Spice
This old gent is called Spice and he found himself needing a home at a very grand age. Luckily he went off to his new home in September this year and is now being kept young and happy by his two new best friends, Starr a beautiful white girl and Kira a lovely brindle girl. He is totally adored by his new family and they wouldn't be without him. Just shows how much love the oldies can give too!
Bruno
Sometimes we get special cases in and this white boy, Bruno, was one such case. He was agitated and anxious and needed a very special home! Luckily Bruno found such a home and is now well settled with his new best mate Razr! Bruno is deaf, so he is learning everything there is to know from Razr. They love sharing sticks and toys and spend most of the time playing together. Bruno has settled down very well and is now a calm and happy boxer babe!
Tyson
Tyson went off to his new home in September this year to join his new best friend Mindy. As you can see beautiful brindle Tyson has certainly found love and happiness.
Cava and Diesel
Cava and Diesel (brindle) went to their loving new home in August this year to join their new best friend Chloe. They are all getting on famously and have recently enjoyed some caravan time. Here are some photos taken in Feb 08, although the beach photo was taken on one of their holidays in 2007.
Update Jan 08 Both continue to settle in well and are very much part of family life now! Cava loves to spend time on the bed, stealing the duvet from whoever happens to be there first! Diesel is very laid back and they have both met lots of new four-legged friends. All three love their sticks and often have to make their Mum and Dad run out of the way when they run at them, all on one stick!! Chloe loves her new best friends and, although she is still veyr much the boss, she loves to nibble their ears and annoy them when they are trying to sleep!
Rosie
Rosie went off to her new home in August. Here are some updated photos of her with her big brother Taz. They both get along famously and all is well in Rosie's world.
Update Dec 07 - Rosie has settled in well and, as you can see, is more than happy to help Taz with his favourite past-time ...... sleeping!!
Shanks (aka Jack)
Shanks, has settled into his new home fantastically. When we heard from his family in August, they said they couldn't believe they had only had him for a couple of weeks as he was such a massive part of the family and that they just couldn't imagine life without him. No wonder, he is just so handsome!
Update Jan 08 - Sadly Shanks' Mum and Dad have just found out that he suffers from colitis and also has a gluten alergy and a couple of other skin allergies, but he is living the life of a king and is loved so very much. He has gained a lot of weight and is looking healthier and happier now!
Archie
This handsome face belongs to Archie who left us on a pouring rainy day in August this year, but even the rain didn't dampen the excitement of the day! He is a beautiful boy who is extremely friendly and loving. His new family are totally besotted with him and Archie enjoys plenty of playtimes with the other dogs in the neighbourhood. Archie's new Mum and Dad regularly send us new photos, so keep checking back on this beautiful boy!
Skye
This beautiful 8 month old white girl left us in August. She went to a home to become fast friends with Molly who, at the tender age of 13 has fallen firmly in love with Skye and the two girls are now inseperable! Skye is on the left in these photographs.
Jo (aka Bobo)
This stunning boy is Jo, who went off to his new loving family in July. Apparently Jo is a dab hand at opening doors but hopefully, his new best friend Clay will keep him far too busy to get into any mischief! Jo likes to steal curries and cookies, lovs to chase cats and has even found his way into the bin! The joys of boxers!!
Abbie and Angus
This handsome pair went off to their new home in July this year. Abbie is the one with the white face and a tail. Apparently they never sit still and their new owners say that it feels that they have been there since they were puppies. Lovely to hear that they have settled in so well.
Clay
This handsome young man went off to his new home in June this year. Clay has settled in really well and is completely spoilt. He gets to go out and play with lots of other dogs and is certainly enjoying life!
Pippa
This lovely little girl is Pippa and she went off to her new home in June this year. Sadly, Pippa suffers from epilepsy, but her new Mum and Dad are taking wonderful care of her and say that she is fantastic and gorgeous and has settled in really well.
Sasha
Here's a couple of photos of Sasha who is an absolute darling. She went to her new forever home in June and her new owners say they feel that Sacha has always been with them and that she is just perfect. Definiately got her paws firmly under the table there!
Jessie
This was another of our sad rescues. Jessie was adored in her home but sadly due to a family emigration, she had to be rehomed. Jessie's new family already feel that she has been with them forever and she is certainly going to be loved and cared for, much to the comfort of her previous owners.

Morgan
This beautiful little girl is Morgan who went to join her new two legged sisters and family in June this year. Despite a bumpy start, Morgan is settling in well and is an adored member of the family.

Ollie (aka Bruno)
Eight month old brindle boy Ollie has now found happiness with a new boxer friend Vinnie and he also has two, two-legged sisters to keep him busy too. Vinnie is already a very well trained boy and will be teaching Ollie all he knows!!
Poppy
Sometimes in rescue we see the heartbreaking stories where much loved boxers have had to be rehomed - Poppy was one such babe in June this year. Poppy was adored in her home but, through difficult and tragic circumstances, had to be rehomed. Thankfully, Poppy is now as equally loved and adored in her new home and is settling in wonderfuly. Her new family say she is their star.
Alfie
This handsome boy is Alfie, who went off to his new home in June this year. Alfie is part of an extended Boxer Welfare Scotland family as his "Grandma" owns the gorgeous Maya. Apparently Alfie is extremely laid back and easy going, but he has still managed to keep us all on our toes and now all the taxi companies in his area know his name!

Mac
This is Mac who went off to his new home in June this year. Mac joined his new best friend Darsi. Apparently Mac has been a calming influence on Darsi - who would have thought a boxer capable of that!! Mac's new family totally adore him and, as you can see, he is nicely settled in.

Update Dec 07 Mac gave us all quite a scare in November when he became seriously ill. We all thought there was a chance he may not pull through and everyone feared the worse. But, Mac knew better and is definitely a fighter. He had worked hard to get a new home and he was determined to stay there, so now Mac is back to full fitness - well done Mac!!
Sam (aka Fred)
Sam was passed on to us by Dogs Trust and didn't even have a name when he was collected. He went off to his new Mum and Dad in June this year and is settling in very well. He is now eating well and is gaining plenty of weight - which he needs! His family say he is a very good natured dog and they are very happy to have him.
Buster
Here are a couple of photos of the lovely Buster, before he went off to his new home in June. He is settling in well and his new family are thrilled with him.
Here is Buster well and truly settled into his new home. Apparently he has boundless energy!
Beefir (aka Tippy)
Beefir went off to his new home on Mull in May this year and has a whole island to himself for his walks - lucky boy!! Beefir has a two legged friend in the form of Keira and four legged friends in Patch a white boxer and a little kitten. Apparently Beefir loves to swim and chase rabbits and can even run fast enough to catch them, but being the good boy he is, he never does! As you can see, this special boy has a lot of wide open space to play in and is happy and settled in his new home. Sadly Patch went off to the bridge in 2008
Dudley (aka Dodi)
Dudley joined his new big sister Lou in May 2007 to help mend a broken heart. Little Dudley was only 12 weeks old when he came into rescue and had been bought by someone who just couldn't cope with a puppy in the end. A classic example of think before you buy! As you can see, Dudley has a new best friend to enjoy his days with!

Shane (aka Che)
Shane went to his new home in May this year and is now loving his new home where his new owners have all the time in the world to play with him! Here are some photos of Shane in his new life. Shane loves the beach and is a very keen swimmer, as you can see!!
Guiness and Rosie (aka Sidney)
This beautiful pair went away to their new homes in April this year and their Mum and Dad are just thrilled to bits with them. Apparently they love the water, hate getting up to early & enjoy a good fry up at weekends and Guiness is quite partial to a drop of beer & malt loaf!! Sounds like they have their feet under the table there! They have both settled down completely in their new family and the photos just prove it.
Amber
Here is Amber tucked up in her new home with her new best friend, Gus. Gus and Amber are inseperable!
Murphy
Well look at this fab boy playing in his new home, looking like he has been there forever.
Yogi and Doug
Looks like Yogi (white boy) is right at home with his new brother Doug, just look at them together, fantastic !
Ria
Well what can I say Ria had me fooled. She was so quiet and timid in the kennels, but as soon as she saw Bruno (one with the tail) she went mad and was bouncing about like a mad crazy boxer. Enjoy the pictures everyone as this was a match made in heaven. I wonder who the boss is in this household?? Ria went to her new home in March this year. The first photo was taken of Ria at Christmas in 2007 - hasn't she settled in well!

Paddy
This is Paddy our Irish boy. He found his home with another of our Boxer Welfare doggies, Bruno, in March this year. He just loves his new brother and they are getting on really well. His sores are getting better and slowly he is getting to know his name, as he came over without one. His Mum and Dad say that they are trying to get photographs of Bruno and Paddy together, but they never sit still long enough!
Rocco
This handsome boy is Rocco, who went off to his new home in March. Rocco is a bit of a lazy bones and has apparently made himself quite at home in his new mum's bed! Him and Harry are joined at the hip and get along famously! Rocco loves footballs and his food! What a life eh Rocco!
Tye
Tye has certainly got his paws firmly on that couch!! Here he is lounging on the sofa and dressed up as the "groom" when he won first prize with his "bride"!! His Mum and Dad say that everyone loves him and he is a real "goofball"
Tara
Here is the most beautiful Tara who went off to her new home in March this year. Tara didn't have the best of lives before she went to her new home and you can read more about what happened to her in Tragic Stories. But for in here, we will concentrate on the positive and are happy to show off Tara looking happy, healthy and very very loved in her new home.

Alfie (aka Dusty)
This is the handsome Dusty who went off to his new home in February this year. These photos were taken later in the year when he was joined by his new best friend, Maddie.

Buffy
This is Buffy who found her new home through us. She is doing just fab.
Maya
February this year saw Maya going off to her new home. She was instantly loved and her new owner feels she has never been without her. In July this year Maya was joined by Phoebe, the two are now best buddies although they are making life more interesting for their new owner!!
Kelsey
Our girl Kelsey went to her forever home on Sunday, and she is making her mark by jumping on the bed to waken her mum up. The joy of boxer dogs!
Missy (aka Dotty)
Sometimes we are asked to help other rescues, when they are full to capacity. Thankfully this doesnt happen very often, but we are always here to try and help.
This is Dotty she is a Boxer cross who came to us from Ally at one of the English rescues. I am very pleased to say that Dotty has settled in well to her new home in Stirling and is even learning to bark in Scottish haha.
Ollie
This is Ollie he has found his new home and has a whole big back garden to run jump (he loves to do this) and play. He has settled in fantastically and his new family just can't imagine being without him.
Kai
Kai was recently rehomed and now has a four legged terror of a sister, Katie, to play with, who is also one of our doggies. On his first night they managed to steal a bag of sugar and cover the living room with it. Boxers will be boxers!
Thai
Thai, well what can we say about this lovley boy. Lori had the pleasure of having her house wrecked by him with the help of Diesel! What a fantastic boy he is, now living happily with his new family and going for some reallllllly long walks.
