Happy Endings 2010

Mattie

This beautiful face belongs to Mattie who headed off to his new home in July. Mattie has a lovely big garden to play in and loves to go on long walks where he can meet lots of new 'friends'. His Mum and Dad say he is very friendly and loveable and they are both delighted he has come to stay with them!

Ava

Beautiful Ava headed off to the Highlands to live with her new Mum and Dad and boxer sister, Daisy. The girls are like two peas in a pod and are getting on famously, loving their time running around and playing together. Ava has quickly settled in and her family are all totally in love with her.

Buster

Former special appeal Buster found himself looking for a home at the grand age of 9! Thankfully Buster, who is deaf, now has a loving home with two other boxers to play with and keep him company. His new Mum and Dad are already in love and Buster is settling in very well with his boxer brother and sister.

Bruce

A very happy Bruce headed off to his new family in June and immediately made himself at home, so much so that no-one could remember a time when he hadn't been there. Bruce now has two legged sisters to play with and a whole neighbourhood who love him!

Bailey

Bailey's new family couldn't be happier with their new addition and are just thrilled to have such a handsome boy in their lives. Gorgeous Bailey is loving having his two legged sister to play with and has settled in to his new life and family very well.

Thai

This handsome boy has settled happily into his new family and now has lots of other doggie playmates in the extended family to play with. His Dads think he is a great lump and said they have never met such a laid back and easy going boxer. Good boy Thai!

Marley

This special boy came to us with the possibilty of losing his leg! Thankfully, after some special care with his foster family, he will get to keep his leg. He has also found himself a forever home, as his family couldn't bear to part with him and he now has a best friend in BWS babe Lily. The two play, sleep and run together and are both very happy to have each other.

Oscar

Oscar captured a few hearts during the long time he was in our care, but thankfully he also captured the hearts of his new Mum and Dad. His Mum said they couldn't have picked a better dog themselves and that Oscar just settled himself in to their home and hearts from the first minute.  Hes filled a really big hole in their lives and they couldnt be happier. Neither could we!

Harry

This gorgeous man was in foster for a year waiting for a new home, but then his family decided they couldn't part with him, and who would blame them! Harry has been enjoying family life and is learning his manners, slowly, but everyone just love him to bits. "Haribo" to his friends and fans, Harry is a very lucky boy!

Gus

Lovely young Gus now has an equally mad playmate in BWS Buster and they are both as happy as can be! Gus and Buster are already firm friends and the boys are enjoying playing together. His new Mum and Dad think he is just wonderful and are enjoying having two bouncy boys to keep them occupied. These photos were sent in June and show how well Gus has settled in.

Boomer

Handsome Boomer is now happily settled with his new family who think he is just wonderful. Boomer now has a two legged brother and sister to play with as well as a house rabbit and is loving all the new fuss and attention.

Kia & Jay

This lovely couple were lucky enough to find their new home in May and are now very happy with their new Mum. They have settled in very well and are enjoying being totally spoilt and loved after their stay in kennels. Jay (red) is Kia's ears and the two are just inseperable. The last two photos were taken at their follow up check in July 2010.

Buster (aka Mac)

Handsome Buster was happy to go off to his new home in May and is now a very happy boy! His Mum and Dad say he settled and it's now like he has always been here, he charms everyone he meets and they just love him to bits. These photos were sent not long after he went home and he clearly looks very relaxed!

Stan

This handsome boy had a hard time in our care. He came to us unable to eat and had to have major mouth surgery before he could be rehomed. He has a permanently disfigured jaw, but that didn't put his new Mum and Dad off taking him home. He is now loving his new life and has a new four legged sister to run around with.

Tyson

Gorgeous Tyson happily left to be with his new family and how has three, two legged brothers to play with. Lucky Tyson is now enjoying lots of attention and fuss and his new Mum says he is just lovely and they are thrilled to have him in their lives.

Mason

Lucky Mason has gone off to his new home in May and joins another BWS babe, Roxi and new boxer brother Lennox. Mason is such a happy go lucky boy and is already having the time of his life playing with his new brother and sister. His Mum and Dad fell in love with him instantly and Mason is now sure to have a very long and happy life with his new family.

Marley

Marley headed off to the north of Scotland in April and is now loving his new life with his two legged his brothers, in fact his Dad says he is probably better behaved than they are! They say he already feels like a long standing member of the family, lucky Marley.

Cassie

Cassie found herself needing a new home at the grand age of 12 and is now settled with two other boxer playmates! Cassie is getting used to an exciting new life and is enjoying having Rocky and Bossy for company. Her new Mum fell in love with her the moment she met her and is thrilled to have an "OAP" in the house to care for.

Lola

Little Lola headed off to her new life and family in April and is already enjoying being spoilt and having lots of fun. Her Mum is enjoying having a boxer in her life again and says Lola is just lovely.

Katie

Sweet little Katie was originally rehomed by us in 2005, but unfortunately her owners moved and then rehomed her rather than contacting us, so despite trying hard, we lost track of her. Thankfully in April, circumstances have meant that Katie is now back under the wing of Boxer Welfare Scotland and her new Dad is thrilled to discover he has a BWS babe in his life,and has signed all the adoption papers. Katie now lives with her best pal Kia and the girls get on famously. Welcome back Katie.

Gus

Gus came to us with some problems but headed off to his new home in April to be with his new brother Bisto. Both boys are getting on like a house on fire and his new Mum and Dad have said he is settling in well. He still has some problems with meeting dogs, but other than that he is a happy, easy going dog who is thoroughly enjoying his new life.

Wilson

Beautiful Wilson was one of our special appeals who stole a lot of hearts while he was in BWS's care, but as from April he is happily living a lochside life in the countryside. Wilson now has some feline friends to play with and is loving his new lifestyle. Wilson's new Mum and Dad are just thrilled to bits with him.

Buster

This energetic boy headed off to his new Mum and Dad at the end of March. He is surrounded by people all day and is totally loving his new life and family. Buster has certainly landed on his feet! In May 2010 Buster was joined by his new pal, Gus and the two are now firm friends and causing trouble together!

Mya

Who could resist a face like this? Certainly not Mya's new Mum and Dad! Mya now has two, two-legged brothers to play with and has settled in happily. Her whole family cannot believe they have been lucky enough to have her join their lives.

Daisy

Sweet little Daisy headed off to her new home in March and is already making herself at home. She now has a two legged sister who loves to take care of her and Daisy is very happy. Her new Mum says she is just lovely.

Sweet, gentle Max was another lucky boxer to find a new home and now has two legged brothers and sisters as well as a brand new four legged friend in Balu. Both boys are getting on famously and the whole is very happy to have Max in their home. Max is a very lucky boy.

Zak

This handsome, happy boy headed home to his new family in March and now has two legged brothers and sisters to play with. Apparently he has already made the couch his own, as you can see from the photos, and his Mum and Dad think he is wonderful, if not a little laid back! Good boy Zak!

Digby (aka Jake)

This most beautiful boy headed home to the Highlands to join his new brother, Archie. Digby is deaf and has anxiety problems, but his new Mum and Dad are hoping that a happy and settled homelife will help him over come his anxieties and that he will soon be happy and relaxed. Archie is loving having a new playmate and they are both enjoying being together.

JC

This lucky girl went off to her new home in early March and settled in almost immediately. Her new Mum and Dad think she is wonderful and say she is doing really well and loves playing with her new two legged brother. She is enjoying exploring her new home and her Mum says she is full of beans and just a typical boxer.

Naz

Handsome Naz happily trotted off with his new Mum and Dad and is certainly getting all the one on one attention he needs. His new family think he is just wonderful and can't believe how lucky they are. Naz has a huge garden to run around in and is just loving his new life.

Floyd

Floyd spent quite a bit of time with us in kennels but headed home to his new life in February and now has a loving home. His new family have informed us that Floyd is a clever boxer who can open doors! He also loves to climb up on his "Grandad's" knee for a lovely cuddle. Floyd is certain to have a wonderful new life.

Kayla

Kayla was previously rehomed through us, but following a check by us, we discovered her owner had unfortunately rehomed her without our knowledge. We got the new owner's details and Kayla is now back under BWS's wing and has been "officially" adopted by her new Mum, who assures us that she has been well looked after and is a very happy girl! Welcome back Kayla!

Bonny

Poor Bonny was given up not long after she had her puppies but is now living a wonderful life with two other boxer sisters to play with. Lillia and Betty have made her feel very welcome and she is already enjoying lots of walks and a holiday! Bonny is now certain to put on any lost weight and has a very happy future ahead of her.

Toby

This handsome boy was lucky enough to become a television star while he was in our care and appeared on STV's The Hour!We were very lucky to have such a wonderful boy to help promote us! His new family think he is just wonderful and are loving getting used to having a boxer in their home. Toby is thoroughly enjoying having two legged brothers to play with and everyone is very happy.

Meg

Meg came to us with apparent health issues. After finding her a foster home, investigations were carried out and she got the all clear! Her foster Mum and Dad couldn't bear to part with her, so now she is loving her new life with her best BWS sister, wee Annie. The two are now completely inseperable and the family is complete! Poor Meg has some new health worries, but her Mum and Dad are taking everything one day at a time. The first three photos were sent in June 10 and show just how content she is.

Edward

Edward is such a gentleman, but he has a few problems with his "possesions" so needed a special home where someone understood him. His new Mum thinks he is so layed back and wonderful and is very happy to have him. She says he needs building up though as she wants more walks than him! Lucky boy Edward. These photos were taken during Edward's follow up check in April, he is very happy and loves his new Mum.

Sugar

Sweet little Sugar went off to join her new brother Oscar and is already totally in love. Sugar and Oscar are both completely full of beans and are having great fun playing together. Her new family think she is just wonderful and are very happy to have her in their lives.

Rocky

Handsome Rocky headed home and joins his new pal, Peaches. Rocky is thoroughly enjoying his new family life and has settled in very well. He has a new two legged brother and is very happy.

Alfie

Young and very energetic, Alfie needed a home where he could burn off some of his enthusiasm for life. Thankfully, Alfie has found that and headed off to join his new brother Archie. Archie is getting used to Alfie's exuberance and his Mum and Dad think is he a bundle of fun, who is very keen to learn and very, very bright! These photos were sent in February and it is very clear that Archie and Alfie are getting on great, even if Alfie does wear him out a little too much, Archie still loves him!

Trevor

This gorgeous wee man is deaf and now has a big boxer brother and sister to keep him in line and teach him the ropes in life. Trevor's Mum and Dad think he is just wonderful and his is keeping everyone on their toes. Trevor is certain to have a very happy life with George and Lucy!

Roxi

Wee Roxi came over from Ireland to avoid being put to sleep in a pound. Thankfully she now has a loving new family and a new boxer brother to play with too. Lennox and Roxi are learning how to play and little Roxi is slowly learning not to be so nervous! Her new Mum and Dad are thrilled and Roxi is sure to have a wonderful life with lots of walks with boxer pals! Before Roxi went home, she became a television star, appearing on STV's The Hour. The two left hand photos were sent to us in March 2010 and, as you can see, Roxi is loving her new found life. In June 2010 Roxi and Lennox were joined by Mason, another BWS babe!

Benny and Bessie

This beautiful bonded pair were strays in a pound in Ireland when their new Mum and Dad fell in love with them. Unfortunately, due to time and space constraints, Benny & Bessie were due to be put to sleep, so they were rushed into our care. Their new Mum and Dad were still very keen to take them into their home, so the arrangements were made and Benny and Bessie are now loving their new life in Sweden! They are sure to be completely spoilt and are very lucky boxers. Before Benny and Bessie went home, they became television stars, appearing on STV's The Hour. Sadly, in July 2010 it was discovered that poor Benny had a tumour in his mouth and he had to be let go.
