Hope - Abandonment and Neglect
On 10th December 2009, this gorgeous girl came into our care. She had been found wandering the streets of Wishaw and was in a very poor state.

We named her Hope, as we believed that was what we could give her. She was taken to the vet on Thursday morning and we were told that she was over five years old and had had several litters in the past. She had a large open sore on her side and possible kidney disease as well has being emaciated and in a very poor state of health.

Sadly, Hope's condition worsened overnight and she was rushed to the vet on Friday morning. Tragically, the vet felt that it was kinder to let her go, rather than prolonging her suffering as she had so many serious health issues.
Hope had been abandoned and left to die in the streets, but we don't want to abandon Hope and will fight in her name.
