Loony Dook - QUEENSFERRY, Jan 2010

There is an old addage "you don't have to be mad to own a boxer, but it certainly helps"! Well a group of volunteers certainly proved that being mad was a definite must when it came to volunteering for Boxer Welfare Scotland when they took part in the Loony Dook on 1st January 2010. We don't know how much has been raised at the moment, but believe it to be possibly jus over £1,000!

Here are a few photos from the day and, as you can see, it certainly wasn't warm!

Unfortunately one of our volunteers couldn't make it to Queensferry to take part in the main Loony Dook, so Carrie took part in the Berwick Dook instead - how's that for committment! Carrie raised a wonderful £100.
