Ongoing appeals for help

As a rescue, Boxer Welfare Scotland is passionate about the boxers that come through our care, more so the ones with health issues. Some of these health problems are ongoing life long conditions that new owners cannot get insurance for and some are dogs who are in permanent foster because their health prevents them being rehomed. In these cases, Boxer Welfare Scotland is responsible for their vet bills and medication requirements for as long as they are needed. To donate, please visit our donation information page.

Levi

Levi is on of our Tragic Stories. He came to us with testicular cancer and stomach problems which have prevented us from rehoming him. He remains a Boxer Welfare Scotland dog and is now in permanent foster home with two other boxers to keep him company. Levi requires regular vet checks and medication to maintain his quality of life.

Pippa

Unfortunately poor Pippa has severe epilepsy and Boxer Welfare Scotland help with her vet bills for that condition as her new owner could not get insurance on it. Pippa needs regular blood tests as well as her medication and her monthly vet bills can be anywhere between £30 to £80+
