REHOMING YOUR BOXER
This is never an easy decision to come to, whatever the reason you have for rehoming your boxer, and we will try our utmost to make the process as painless and easy as feasibly possible.
Please make sure you have considered the decision fully before you contact Boxer Welfare Scotland. The rescue is run entirely by volunteers and a lot of time, phone calls and effort goes into bringing a dog into our care. With limited time available, our volunteers are already overstressed, so we would rather not waste their time or ours.
If you do wish to give up your boxer, here are some of the basic questions we will ask you, it would be helpful if you had all this information to hand before you contacted us.
- What sex is your boxer
- How old is your boxer
- Is he/she neutered
- Is he/she fully vaccinated
- Is he/she microchipped
- Has he/she been vaccinated against kennel cough
- Vet details
The following questions merely help us determine the best new home for your boxer.
- Is he/she good with children
- Is he/she good with cats
- Is he/she good with other dogs
