Sophie - Heart Condition
Beautiful Sophie came to us in a poor condition, the extent of which we were not aware until she had seen our own vet.

We knew she was on medication for her skin and heart problems, but we were shocked at her when she came in. She also has a large cyst on her neck which cannot be removed due to her heart condition.
The poor wee thing was very skinny and looked very pathetic, but we soon had her tucked up in her foster home with two boxer pals to play with.
Sophie has ventricular tachycardia which means that her heart can suddenly start racing and she could pass out, or possibly die, or even pass away peacefully in her sleep.
We do not know how long Sophie has been suffering with this condition but our vet believes it wont have been for very long as she is around 7 years old already.

Sophie went off to her new home to join her new best friend, Champ. Sophie's new family don't know how long they will have with her, but they are determined to treasure every moment. She has since had surgery to remove the cyst on her neck and is doing fantastically well. We are so glad that Sophie came to us and that she is now able to enjoy her new special life.
