A Special Thank You
Our rescue is very lucky to have some fantastic support from friends, family and those who just wish to help us out. We would like to dedicate this page to all those who have supported our rescue in some way.
To the Companies
To Pets at Home for their support with fundraising, informational days and much much more.
A very big thank you to Gareth and Barry Taylor of Pro-Tech Shelters for their very generous donation of a pop-up gazebo. This will be invaluable to us at our various events and carboot sales etc. Thank you!!!
To Derek Thorpe at Forrest Hepburn & McDonald Signs Ltd in Edinburgh for our fantastic banners and de-cals. Your support is greatly appreciated.
A huge thank you goes out to Royal Canin, who kindly donated a large amount of dog food, which many boxer rescues have benefited from. Also for the free samples that have helped us with our fundays and fundraising.
To The Individuals
To Jim Hamilton for his support of Boxer Welfare Scotland, donation and signed goodies that we have been able to auction off. Also to Jarno Trulli for his support and signed photos, which we auctioned to help raise funds and to Kenny Logan for his support.
Our continued thanks always go to Mrs Stephens. Mrs Stephens is constantly knitting for us and has helped us raise a lot of money with her fantastic dog coats and Christmas stockings.
To Gina McCallum who worked hard on behalf of Boxer Welfare Scotland both personally and by pestering others to help us. Gina is the brainchild behind our participation in the Great Scottish Walk in 2008. Personally raising over £1,000, she encouraged many more to take part, ensuring we raised a huge amount for our charity. Gina also regularly donates goods to BWS for selling and using at our events.
On Gina's behalf, we would also like to thank the following: John Donnelly of Heritage Funeral Services, The Village, East Kilbride, Robin Munn of George Munn & Co, Burnside, Glasgow and Donald Blair of T & A Fyfe, Hamilton. To Doctors Brian O'Rourke & David MacDougall who are Cardiac Consultants at Hairmyres Hospital. All of these individuals give a great deal of support to Boxer Welfare Scotland through our volunteer Gina. They donate raffle prizes, buy tickets and are extremely generous in their sponsorship of BWS and we are truly grateful for everything they do.
To Ruth Sharp who organised a car boot sale in her area and raised just over £455 for Boxer Welfare Scotland!
To Paul O'Grady for sending us a Nodding Buster and signed photo which raised us over £43!
To Jamie Stewart of Dundee who took part in the Dundee Templeton 10k in November 2008 with his boxer Dudge. They both raised a whopping £106 and Dudge was the first dog to have taken part!
